Winds Auditions

If you would like to be part of the winds section, there is no audition required. Everyone who signs up for a wind instrument will automatically make the section. If the show requires a solo of any kind, audition will be held in June to determine placements. Any student may audition for a solo.
If you play the french horn, we suggest you switch to mellophone. Advanced trumpet players may also opt to switch to mellophone. Baritone and Tuba players will be given marching variants of their horn. Double Reed instruments often break outdoors, so it suggested that you switch to another woodwind instrument for the season. |
